Abandoned Angelfire Horror Websites – Volume 2 (Circa 1999-2006)

I’m back with Volume 2 of my Abandoned Angelfire Horror Sites. I think this round of sites is even better than the first!

Scott’s Broken Lizard’s CLUB DREDD
Last Updated: 2/21/2005

This is a very simple but effective fansite. I love that most of the pictures are still active and you can see the site exactly how it was fifteen years ago. There’s not a lot to it, but it has an interview with actress Brittany Daniel so that’s pretty cool.

Halloween
Last Updated: 1999

This is another simple page where not much has survived, but I found one page worth noting: the Producer’s Cut. This page broke down the changes from the original version of Halloween 6 and The Producer’s Cut. This is the way I learned about the Producer’s Cut since it was almost impossible to find in its workprint form. Luckily for us, it’s been officially released now, but back in the 90’s this was a thing of legend.

The Horror Stop
Last Updated: 2006

I really, REALLY like this webpage. It’s easy to navigate, has a look of it’s own and has some great content. Nothing seems to be missing and I’m impressed with how much the author was able to create in the one year from when the site launched and was abandoned. The reviews are simple, easy to read, and well worth a look.

The Horror House
Last Updated: Unknown, I’d guess 1999-2000

This a fun little site to click around. There isn’t much to it, but the author has reviews for quite a few movies.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation
Last Updated: June 14th, 2006

Now this was a gem I didn’t expect to find: a Texas Chainsaw Massacre: TNG fan site. The site is intact and full of goodies. There are script segments of cut footage, pictures, interviews with the cast, and more! I think you’ll enjoy spending a few minutes on this fan site even if you aren’t a huge fan of the film.
